Smart Assistive Navigation Goggles for the Visually Impaired
A wearable assistive system designed to help visually impaired individuals navigate safely using real-time obstacle detection and intelligent feedback. The device integrates ultrasonic sensors, IR/ToF sensing, and a microcontroller to provide directional guidance through haptic vibrations and audio alerts, enabling hands-free mobility and enhanced independence.

This project is a wearable embedded system combining multiple sensing and feedback mechanisms.
Sensors: Ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection, IR ToF/LiDAR for precise distance mapping
Processing Unit: ESP32 / Arduino microcontroller for real-time data processing
Optional Vision Module: Camera for scene recognition and object classification
Feedback System:
Vibration motors for directional alerts (left/right/front)
Bone conduction speakers / audio output for voice guidance
Power: Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery
Design: Lightweight wearable frame for continuous use.
